It's a good album, definitely worth buying and I enjoy it a lot. However, I do like Hold Your Colour more, and wish you would do more hard Drum & Bass stuff like you used to.

Yeah, the tempest is amazing! Except the pre-release version I heard was better. The vocals echo and lack clarity on the CD version. Or is it just my CD? The Other Side is mindblowing too.

Thank you for creating a new music genre. This isn't Drum & Bass, this isn't Rock... This is PENDULUM!!

NOTHING comes come close to this sound. pendulum owns them all. they make their sound on the spot...live on stage. and to all the skeptics it SHITS all over hold your colour. its gone from aggressive D and B to super angry techno rock of the future! the amazing part is propane nightmares got to #6 over there in the UK. the wait is on for album #3 bocca (a proud australian)

Where are the relaxing songs like streamline, still grey? 9000 miles comes close but not close enough. Sorry guys, you promised a album twice as better then HYC. I can't agree. I think that as a band you accomplished a good set for a live preformance. Allot of variation. I enjoyed allot of the In Silico songs in the DJ set in Tivoli/Utrecht. I know you guys did a good job. I think you'll reach a wider audience. And I'll give the album another listen ;).

Tuesday, May 13 2008

by edward b

WOW guys..great piece of work. I love it. I can't compare this to HYC. Both fabulous works. Can't wait for the next Perth visit.

by boo121

superb sound. trying to think of what genre to call it, i know a lot of people are thinking of names - cosmic-rock, pen-rock!? anyway, this has such a unique sound. the quality on the cd is fuckin awesome and i just love playing midnight runner at full bass, pissing every1 off on the highstreet. excellent stuff guys.

Tuesday, May 13 2008

by Jon-O-5000

I'm not even a drum and bass fan but I still thought Hold Your Colour was a good album. This, though, is a whole new level of awesome. Granite and The Tempest are two of the best tracks I've heard all year in any genre. I'll be seeing you guys at Reading, and I hope In Silico gets the acclaim and monster sales it deserves.

Tuesday, May 13 2008

by Its_Stripey

Hold your colour set Pendulum out from the crowd, it was Pendulums sound. In Silico was a bit of a let down for me, it is good with showdown been an awesome song, however In Silico sounds like a cross between The prodigy and Muse, where has Pendulum gone? Please don't sell out to the mainstream bands and become like all the others out there. Hold your colour was just so amazing. Still i will be there for the astoria date, and i cannot wait =]

Tuesday, May 13 2008

by gix10000

thw new album really is very good, but only in its own right, SO MUCH VARIATION!! not one track sounds even similar, not many bands pull that off, briliant!!loving the old skool beats in midnight runner, and happy harcore/pop feel in the other side...... mutiny is the punchiest song, VERY KL!! i dunno y im even writin this cus u guys sed on fabios d'n'b show u dunt read the forums nemore lol. nasty biz. init. PLZ DUNT SELL OUT 2 MAINSTREAM

New Album 'In Silico' - Cracking job guys - I've been following you guys for the last 4 years... I've seen you do 3 live sets - The Welly in Hull, Custard Factory (B'ham) x 2 and travelling the 150 miles to see you again on Friday 16th May 2008 at The Custard Factory - B'ham. You guys really kick some ass... I'm 43 yrs old and I'll probably be the oldest guy in The Custard Factory - but who gives a sh*t - good music is good music... not quite as good as Hold Your Colour but the bass makes my eyes bleed... and it's still AWESOME. See you guys on the 16th!!! Last time I visited Custard - I couldn't hear for three days after... wicked!!! Prosper - Steve

great album guys, i dont know what it is but from about 5mins till the end of the tempest it just sounds amazing. hold your color was excellent ( slam and hold your color being just 2 that stick out for me ) and in silico will go that way once people have listen to it a few times. brill job keep it up.

Bought the album today, listening to it now. . . I FUCKING WORSHIP IT!!!!!!!!!!! PROPANE NIGHTMARES, GRANITE AND THE OTHER SIDE ARE FUCKING IMMENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wednesday, May 14 2008

by TaiyedBrodel

dude this album is amazing, thank you! I listened to it right...on a 7-channel home theatre with a 15" sub. I'm from America, and I picked up the only 2 of 2 copies that they got in at the music store for my friend and I. In response to the other comments, a band has GOT to evolve. Be GLAD that it's not the same as Hold Your Colour. Their first album will always be there when you want to listen to it. All the great bands ever created...evolve album to album while still maintaining their original greatness. This is exactly what Pendulum has done. Heavy moments, beautiful melodic moments, ridiculous transitions...this album has it all. BRAVO!!

Wednesday, May 14 2008

by mcwf1

I was one of "those people" that couldn't wait and downloaded the album early. Just bought my copy tonight (as it finally became available on iTunes Canada). The sound quality is about twice as good! Was utterly lost driving today - made my commute THAT much better! I can honestly say I liked each song on the album. Obviously I have my favourites, but I haven't had an album be likable the whole way through in a very, very long time. Great job guys, I'm praying for a Toronto show this year! And please post more of your live videos on Youtube so us poor people who can't see you live yet get to see!

Much better than hold your colour. Best album of the decade for me regardless of genre. Loved the intro tune, such a great song to get you into the mood of the album then each song in turn is equally as impressive! More like this please! :)

I'm really digging it. Especially The Other Side. What a track. Way better than HyC, which was already pretty good.

Friday, May 16 2008

pretty nice album. not as good as hold your color but thats only my opinion. i dont like those aggressive screaming style lyrics (like in showdown) but there are a lot of good tracks. favs are 9000 miles, the tempest, granite and visions... looking forward to see you guys live at the UAF in austria

I like both albums Hold Your Colour and In Silico. They definitely are different. Personally I prefer In Silico but you have lost a lot of pure dnb fans from this album.

Saturday, May 17 2008

by DVeanA

2 junglist_98. Firstly, r u only 10-th?? Here we don't speak about D&B or Rock or something else, and what ways they have to go! We speak about PENDULUM n it's their sound, new sound!!! May be they lost dnb fans, but no doubt they get 2 thousand fans of their new sound per 1 thousand of pure junglists!!! It's great album, I love it as HYC!!! P.S. Dude, Nightlife is not album!!! It's mix and weaker than 3-rd part I love very much!!!

so i gotta say that i was a bit suprised to hear the new album....wasnt quite what Id expected and at first i didnt like it....but then I heard the Tempest and listened to it again...and again....and again....now I love it..its different, and that can be a good thing. keep up the good work guys

by Gasoline

@junglist_98 "but real DnB fans don't want this blasting from their speakers. " But that's the thing "We wanted to get as far away from drum 'n bass as we could without losing our sound," -Rob The album is amazing by the way!

Number 2 in the album chart! Nice going boys! Keep it going. I know I'll be rinising this in the car all summer! Big Up!

Hey Guys... Just a repost from a few days ago following the 16th of May Gig in Birminghams' Custard Factory. The music was awesome but let down massively by the inadequate sound system they run at this venue. Not just that the music was too loud (cos it wasn't) the bass was just SO distorted... the sound at The Welly in Hull was SOOO much better (and louder). Now you guys are really hitting the big time - you ought to choose your venues with sound systems that can cope with the phenominal bass you guys kick out. Rob - you're the man, the tunes and lyrics are great man!!! Steve

this album is fan fucking tastic, i remember back to fasten your seatbelts, that was top-notch, went to astoria at the live event in london, what a fucking good night cant wait for more of the same from you guys, keep rocking and pounding out those beats.

Tuesday, May 20 2008

by Slapdaddy

Havo to second Smety at this one. Not a bad job, but the new style sounds not that varied to me... And tbh, I miss some hardcore DnB like Still Grey. Plus, .maz's words hold some truth too, for me that is. Did a Through The Loop not fit into your new style properly?

Tuesday, May 20 2008

by Slapdaddy

Meant 'Axle Grinder' instead of Still Grey there... annoying Hold Your Color re-edit :p

Tuesday, May 20 2008

by bdyetton

Bloody good album guys, way dif from hold your colour but still sounds amazing. fav traks are visions and different. probs: pitty theres only 10 songs, muntiny is no good, and "join the circus full of people" realy guys there could have been beter lyrics there. Still on the whole i thinks its a mint album and it grows on me each listen

Wednesday, May 21 2008

by Smit

It's definately growing on me. I discovered you guys after I heard Vault a long time ago, and I'll admit it was a suprise to see you going away from the D'n'B a little; trouble is, Hold Your Colour was your personal Dark Side Of The Moon, so anything else was always going to have a hard time living up to it. Still mint though. Every man has hias own opinion, neither right or wrong, but- Mutiny and The Other Side. Christ....

Thursday, May 22 2008

just bought the album, but a little confused...drum and bass or pop??? all the tracks are great but the 1st two in my opinion are not that great, other than that BANGING TUNES

This album is the perfect combination of breakbeat, electronika and rock, and the 9000 miles sounds like a little bit drum and bass. It's perfect, i love it! My favorite is The Tempest and The Other side! You guy's are the best! PENDULUM 4EVER AND EVER!!! XD Keep up the good work! :D
