We kicked off our massive summer of festivals last week, headlining the second stage at Download Festival on Friday.

Metal Hammer reviewed the show and said:
"Pendulum. It’s going to be hard not to slip into desperate gushing and unchecked sycophancy, but Pendulum put on a rock show to match any ‘proper’ band. The Australian ‘drum ‘n’ bass/rock’ band bring some different sounds to the festival with their synths and breakbeats but the vibe is all rock show with guitarists running around, lights shining into the rainy night and sounds that get your body bobbing and your feet moving whether you like it or not. Dance music is about dancing. Simple. Rock music is about rocking out. Pendulum do both at the same time and to levels the best of either should be envious of. It might be that the 30,000 rockers and metalheads dancing in the rain may not play their albums more than any of Slayer’s but tonight they’re raving like they never want it to end."
Check out some photos from the festival below.
